I'm not going to delve to much into this. Since basically most everyone that can use a computer knows about these things. I on the other hand, a complete buffoon.
Okay. I'd had the phone for a few months. I'd called and got rid of a lot of stuff I didn't need. Like the apple device finder, helps you find your other devices. Dude on the phone says you don't have any, so he took it off immediately.
I'd visited what they call the app(lication) store a few times. My biggest issue seemed to be was the Apple ID and Password. Even tried through the ITunes account and failed. I still do not know what happened exactly but I got an id. The password would come eventually.
Now most people have multiple apps. Okay there I've used it once and will use it from now on, apps. My co-worker asked me how many I'd downloaded. I remember saying taking my time. Truth was I was so frustrated with the process of ID and password I'd given up.
Was around the time, it's in an entry somewhere, I wanted to buy a pedometer. Researched it. Found one that seemed good, but a little pricey. Wound up at my go to spot, Radio Shack. I seriously love that chain. Always helpful and never makes me feel overly stupid.
Well turned out they didn't have what I wanted. I said thank you and as I left the person asks if I had a smart phone. I said no it's an IPhone. We both look confused, I realize TOMATO TOMATOE, generic or brand. I said I'm an idiot and to just continue.
Down load a pedometer app.
I still cannot believe it was that simple. Of course I'd only get a free one. So I saved money. The process itself.
Opened the apps icon. First I scrolled through, then I did a search. Found one, for my price. Hit download and then it asked for my password. Yup. I forgot it.
I obviously found and changed it. The app worked and I was happy.
We'll cover games next probably.
