Hello.

     Just thought I'd pop in.  Been a week.  Middle of the road sort.  Nothing huge.  Thinking maybe the words will just flow.  Don't really have much to say.

     Weekend?  Hmm.  Pretty sure it was pleasant.  Finally got the new microwave up.  Highlight for me was cleaning the area where it was.  It was abysmally filthy.  Sister said it would have to be scrubbed.  To be honest, a spray down and wipe with a sponge.  I was simply astonished how easy it was to clean.  New microwave fits in just fine.  Old one is in front of my garage though.  Will be making trip to the curb for removal tomorrow.  Served us well for over 20 years.  Yes.  I said over 20.  Do not tell me that surprises you.

     Have given a hard thought about my eating habits.  I've scaled back on the junk food immeasurably.  Hit the lounge on Sunday as I'm prone to do.  Terribly windy day.  Yup won nothing in the super bowl pool.  Had a good time.  Sister had insisted she was going to make stuffed peppers.  Low and behold, when I got home.  They were in the pot.  And delicious to boot.  Having the last one tomorrow.

     Monday.  She had Dr. appointments, she and brother in law were off for presidents day.  Anyway.  I made a roast turkey breast.  Got fancy with some rice.  Boiled it up.  Chopped up some parsley and added half a juice from a fresh lemon when it was drained.  Was delicious.

     There is a weird mood in my workplace that I cannot place.  Tomorrow my manager gives me my review.  His and my least favorite day of the year.  Hoping it will be brief.  I put no faith in reviews.  Basically everyone gets a raise.  So what's the point.  Yes I know my strong points and what are considered my weak ones.  Be interesting to see if any have changed.

     Money.  Seems I'm starting the new year well.  Have saved some.  I really think that ordering cigars on line has helped as well.  I have more money to put away at the end of the month.  Might be a few hundred this month.

     My car is on it's last legs.  Will need to get a new one.  Even my mechanic said so.  It served me well.  I bought it years ago primarily because the previous one couldn't hold my mom's wheel chair.  And being sporty, a Ford Probe, it was hard for her to get in and out of.  I liked the salesman who sold it to me.  He's since moved from Toyota to Honda.  Of all places, near the cigar lounge.  So I'm going to contact him first.  Maybe arrange to meet him this weekend.

     Getting along with the new phone.  Learning to use it and  so that's good.  Other than that nothing really to tease the palate of my readers.  Other than the cold nothing to report either. 

     And I'm getting ready to wrap up my Heart blog.  Sad in a way about it.  So glad I did it though.  It did exorcise a lot that I had about it.  Memories that I had have all been transferred into cyber space.  I hope everyone that read it enjoyed it.  Hard to tell without comments.  I'm about done here.  Nice to see you all and will be back.
