Just dropping by.  Chilly morning, dusting of snow upon cars and lawn.  Awaiting the act of going food shopping.  Hands a bit cold just now, could just put up the heat I reckon.  Went out for a little last night, even bought 2 smokes, so appalled by the prices that I am ordering from the on line place later.  The week after this I will be running the show for a bit at work, I'll need a relaxer after work.
    
     I did bring up the subject of money to them yesterday.  "...keeping a list of how much we owe you." "was only able to put in this much  this week."  After I told them that I couldn't pay most of the bills last month.  I also told them I was no longer lending money and my credit card is now off limits. 

     Food shopping, put groceries away, head to cigar lounge and watch football.  Come home, find out if they started dinner or anything, and relax til it is time to go for work.  Oh did find something out yesterday.

     Did I mention I've a very old cell phone.  No the antenna doesn't pull up, it's permanent.  So I get a text message from my carrier that at the end of January my phone and sim card will no longer be supported.  There are models I can switch to or just upgrade.  So I finally drove to a store to have a look.

     Well I asked about the replacement.  Still just a flip phone, nothing special, still neanderthal like, in that no camera, not Internet, and no texting.  Bill doesn't go up if I choose it.  Or I could upgrade to a Smart phone.  That of course would require a 2 year contract, but I get the phone for free, and I would  need a data plan.  Bill goes up about $50.

     Well I'm getting a phone from a friend, so I'll just need the data plan, but am up in the air about what to do.  It's not just about the money.  I've always liked not being a lemming and getting what everyone else has.  But at what point then do I get to the point of no return.  Or just get....uh.....seriously I just did an oral uh.  Get codger like?  You know people who just don't get it anymore.
 
     There is already so much I don't know about.  So I'm thinking it is time to upgrade.  I'll go with the smart phone because I'll at least be somewhat....can't think of the damned word...pertinent.....no...keeping up is the best I can think of.  So that was that.  Okay I've 10 min to prepare for the shopping expedition,  later.
